This painting, a portrait of my Great Aunt, won the Mrs. W.M. Whittington, Jr. Purchase Award at the 21st Juried Fine Arts Competition held at Cottonlandia Museum in Greenwood, MS. It is now a part of Cottonlandia's extensive permanent Mississippi Art collection.
